I was fortunate to travel and work with Jani and the boys on the Cherry Pie tour. I can tell you it was one of the most fun tours I have done in 25+ years of touring. Warrant never took that "I'm a rock star leave me alone" attitude. My thoughts and Prayers go out to his kids and to Eric, Jerry, Stephen and Joey. Remember the good times.
I will remember Jani with great memories. RIP my friend.

I had the great fortune of meet Jani at concert at Hampton Beach Casino , in NH.. He was such a great guy, he stood with us saved me from a drum stick to the head and also saved me from being slapped when Vince Neil went to stand on a table and it tipped and he fell on top the crowd. He also helped me and my friend get out side when the crowd rushed to front stage. I remember saying just grab my belt loops we're out of here. He was such a sweet person and made my night by just coming over and talking to us. I always hoped that one day I could take my daughter to see Warrant and maybe she could meet him too. But now it will never happen.

Still missing Jani. Many years ago my friends opened for you at Babes in Brewer, Maine. Despite the fact that my bf was the drummer in the band that opened for you all, hadn't gotten me a band pass, I still managed to catch the whole show that you and the boys put on. Upon meeting you, I knew right off, that you would be an amazing friend. I have never been so impressed with a musicians demeanor. You were just you, not a swelled head, better than everyone else, kind of person. People like you are so very rare. What a wonderful person!! I'm going to miss the long talks about everything from A to Z. I will never forget the call from you congratulating me on the birth of my son. It meant the absolute world to me. I'll always remember you as being the kindest, sweet, down-to-earth, real person I have ever met. I'm going to miss those talks. You were such a righteous individual. I know your up there, with a smile on your face, rockin out, knowing that you are loved and missed very much. Until we meet again....all the very best to you my friend.
